Affinity Health System developed an EMS and became the first health care provider in the US to have an ISO 14001 certified EMS. Since its implementation, 91% of staff has been engaged in implementing the EMS.
Affinity Health System –Lean Tools as Grounding for an EMS
Affinity Health System used Lean tools in developing their Environmental Management System. They established a baseline and determined which Lean tools were most effective for improvement. The team has been able to integrate their Environmental Management System into their Lean program.
