Meet the Board

Mark Alan, Senior Vice President of Product Management and Development, Inpro Corporation

Mark has 22 years of experience as a senior leader in General Management serving the last 12 years as the Senior Vice President of Product Management and Development at Inpro. He oversees product sustainability and compliance and has led the company’s efforts toward disclosing both Environmental and Health product declarations. He is a graduate of Cardinal Stritch and is a LEED Green Associate.

Kurt Baehmann, Sustainability Manager, Outpost Natural Foods

Kurt Baehmann has been with Outpost Natural Foods since January 2019. He has organized a leadership team to tackle the daunting retail food issue of single-use plastics, published their seventh annual Sustainability Report, and worked on reducing waste and fostering effective community partnerships. Prior to joining Outpost, Kurt poured his 20+ years of applied knowledge of business management, marketing, and sustainability into the photography, eco-travel and golf industries. He also started a website focused on sustainability in the outdoor industry, ForwardOutdoor.com. Kurt completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, triple majoring in Marketing, Spanish, and Real Estate & Urban Land Economics. He enjoys traveling and the outdoors while skiing, snowboarding, biking, hiking and camping. Kurt is recently married to Elizabeth and they have a home in Milwaukee.

Jeanne Burns-Frank, Environmental Systems Manager, Madison Gas and Electric Company

Jeanne Burns-Frank is an Environmental Systems Manager at Madison Gas and Electric (MGE) and has over 20 years of experience in the environmental field. Jeanne’s current work at MGE includes operations-wide environmental management system development, sustainability tracking and reporting, corporate compliance, and pollinator protection initiatives. Jeanne has a BS in environmental geology from the University of Illinois and a MS in Environmental science from Indiana University.

Jeanne likes to take annual multiday bike trips around Wisconsin with her family and is currently obsessed with attracting bumblebees, monarchs, and other pollinators to her garden on the east side of Madison, Wisconsin.

Dave Burreson, Director of Facility and Corporate Services, Lands’ End

Dave has been at Lands’ End for 28 years and is currently the Director of Facility and Corporate Services. He also serves on the Company’s GoGreen Committee, helping lead sustainability projects throughout the organization. Dave was a leader in the development of the recycling programs and first third-party environmental review for Lands’ End in 1994, which led to the completion of the Lands’ End Environmental Report which he manages and is completed annually. Dave’s responsibilities include the management of environmental health and safety compliance, corporate travel, food service and campus sustainability projects for the three Wisconsin campuses.

Lisa Geason-Bauer, President, Evolution Marketing

Lisa Geason-Bauer founded Wisconsin’s first triple bottom line managed marketing and sustainability consulting firm (Evolution Marketing) in 2007. Since then she has played an active role in shaping the discussion within the business world regarding adoption of strategic sustainability strategies and inclusion of corporate social responsibility programs/projects into day-to-day business operations. Ms. Geason-Bauer has been working at the intersection of sustainability, marketing/communication, and product innovation; she enjoys helping her clients to distinguish themselves from their competition via adoption of triple bottom line strategies and circular economy thinking. Lisa is an experienced public speaker and educator, who has presented talks, workshops at regional, national and international conferences covering topics within business sustainability (i.e. employee engagement, supply chain management and environmental communications) as well as topics in sustainable agriculture, alternative fuel vehicles, community engagement and corporate social responsibility. Lisa has been recognized repeatedly for her leadership within the sustainable business community. In 2014 she was the recipient of the “Wisconsin Earth Day Business Sustainability Leadership Award”, and was also named the “Women Business Leader of the Year” by the Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce. In 2015, she was the recipient of the U.S. Green Building Council’s “Above and Beyond Volunteer Award.”

Amanda Goetsch, Program Manager, UW Extended Campus - Degree Programs in Sustainable Management

Amanda Goetsch is the Program Manager for UW System's Undergraduate and Graduate Degree Programs in Sustainable Management. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Aspects of Conservation with a certificate in Environmental Studies as well as her Master’s degree in Conservation Biology and Sustainable Development with a certificate in Business, Environment and Social Responsibility from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  During her time as a graduate student she worked as the Sustainability Coordinator with Veolia Environmental Services as well as Program Director for the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council's (WSBC) Green Master’s Program.  It was through that program that she connected with Inpro, a Wisconsin-based product manufacturing firm.  She was hired into a brand new sustainability manager position and developed the job as she performed it.   Her professional experience spans a wide range of topics including: employee engagement and training, product transparency documentation, global sustainability reporting, environmental management system and ISO14001 implementation, sustainability policy development and implementation, KPI development and implementation, biodiversity projects, community engagement, sustainability in the built environment, supply chain sustainability, sustainable business strategic planning and effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.  She holds the LEED Green Associate credential.  she currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council, the Governance Board for Cool Choices, and the Market Leadership Advisory Board for the U.S. Green Building Council Wisconsin Community and formerly served on the Jefferson County Sustainability Taskforce.

Ashley Henderson, Business Solutions Architect, Trane

Ashley Henderson is a Business Solutions Account Manager with Trane. She has been part of the development of the Digital Team in the Milwaukee office focusing on assisting the business as they bring energy efficiency and optimization to the front of their operations without sacrificing comfort. This approach helps define scalable, responsible solutions as well as empowering the teams with consultative training. Ashley’s business background has brought a different perspective to the team which has helped them grow since she joined the team in 2016.

 

Ashley’s holds a BBA from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in Finance and a Degree in Economics. She has been developing her career through sales and marketing with a focusing on driving change through leadership and innovation for sustainable solutions. 

Scott Louks, Sustainability & Facilities Project Manager, Mercury Marine

Scott Louks has over 20 years’ operational experience in project management, manufacturing, engineering, quality and continuous improvement at Mercury Marine.  Scott coordinates Mercury’s global sustainability efforts revolving around four key pillars: responsible consumption of energy, caring for the environment, product stewardship and quality of life.  Scott holds a BS Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University.

Ryan Piedot, Senior Manager of Environmental Compliance and Sustainability, Kohl’s Department Stores

Ryan Piedot is the Sr. Manager of Environmental Compliance and Sustainability for Kohl’s Department Stores.  Ryan is responsible for Kohl’s sustainability strategy and vision to ensure Kohl’s minimizes its environmental footprint while creating positive impacts in our communities.  He is also responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of environmental compliance programming, which includes waste management, property permitting and supply chain compliance.  Prior to joining Kohl’s in 2007, Ryan worked at Clean Harbors Environmental Services, providing an array of environmental consulting services.  Ryan holds BS degrees in Environmental Studies and Economics from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. 

Ben Reynolds, Director of Operations, Reynold’s Transfer and Storage

Ben Reynolds is Director of Operations at Reynolds Transfer & Storage, a moving company that handles residential, commercial and industrial moves. Part of the family’s sixth generation, Ben has worked for Reynolds since age fourteen, with roles including mover, truck driver, dispatch, machinery and storage project manager, and operations manager. Ben earned his BS in Industrial Engineering and MS in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the UW-Madison. During his Masters program, Ben became interested, and developed a background in business sustainability. He worked as a teaching assistant for a class called Sustainable Approaches to Systems Improvement and took four additional business sustainability classes. After learning the benefits of sustainability in business, he has led the implementation of the company’s sustainability program.

Jason Tienor, President and CEO, Telkonet

Jason Tienor is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Telkonet, a leading Internet-of-Things (IoT) provider for commercial markets. Responsible for strategy, planning, business development and investor relations, Jason has successfully repositioned Telkonet’s business into a profitable and growing sustainability-focused company. While introduced to Telkonet through the acquisition of his second start-up company, EthoStream, Jason has served as CEO, Founder, Partner, Director and Adviser for numerous businesses throughout his career. Jason received a BBA in MIS and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and an MBA from Marquette University.

Kevin Tubbs, Vice President and Chief Ethics, Compliance and Sustainability Officer, Oshkosh Corporation

Kevin Tubbs is the Vice President, Chief Ethics, Compliance & Sustainability Officer for Oshkosh Corporation. He is responsible for the development and implementation of ethics & compliance and environmental & sustainability processes and programs for Oshkosh Corporation’s worldwide operations. Prior to joining Oshkosh Corporation in 2012, Kevin held senior environmental management and sustainability positions at Ingersoll Rand Company, Trane Company, and American Standard. Kevin began his career at Exxon Corporation.


Kevin holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University and MS degrees in Engineering Management and Occupational Safety and Health from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Kevin also holds a certificate from the Wharton School’s Executive Development Program. For three years Kevin was the Mayor of Chatham Township, NJ during which time Chatham Township was named the “Best Place to Live in New Jersey” and was one of the first communities to receive Sustainable Jersey certification. Kevin is on the Advisory Board of the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council and the Board of Trustees of the Fox Cities Leadership Academy.
