The Tenth Annual Sustainable Business Conference is extremely excited to welcome two amazing keynote speakers this year. We bring together passionate and inspiring business practitioners who will lead discussions about the most current, talked-about topics in sustainable business. This year, we are very fortunate to have David Kohler, CEO - Kohler Company, delivering our morning keynote, and Jacob Madsen, Director of Sustainability - SC Johnson delivering the afternoon keynote.
Meet our Keynote Speakers:
David Kohler, President and CEO
With 26 years of experience with the company, David Kohler became President and Chief Executive Officer of Kohler Co. in June 2015, after serving as President and Chief Operating Officer since 2009. He is the fourth generation of the Kohler family to lead the company since its inception in 1873.
David believes Kohler Co. holds a personal responsibility to bettering the planet. In fact, Kohler has created a program called Net Zero 2035, which involves sending no solid waste to landfills,
reducing or offsetting 100% their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and reducing its water usage.
Jacob Madsen, Director of Sustainability
Jacob Madsen is the current Director of Sustainability for SC Johnson. Mr Madsen joined SC Johnson in 2016 and is in charge of sustainability in North and South America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Mr. Madsen previously worked as Manager in Deloitte Consulting LLP’s Strategy and Operations practice where he led the supply chain sustainability strategy and assessment team within Deloitte’s Sustainable Operations in the Supply Chain offering. He received his education from Aalborg University in Denmark.
Networking with others in the sustainability field has never been easier! With the exciting location at The American Club, and high profile speakers, this is shaping up to be one of our best attended conferences yet.
