The Green Bay Sustainable Business Accelerator is a hands-on program designed to help local businesses implement nature-based solutions (NBS) that reduce costs, improve resilience, and strengthen community impact. Through expert coaching, peer collaboration, and step-by-step guidance, your business can become a local leader in sustainable transformation.

PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS

Have fewer than 500 employees

Operate within the
City of Green Bay

Have decision-making control over facility land use

Be able to implement Nature Based Solutions (NBS)
(eg. stormwater retention, energy reduction, native plantings)

Be ready to engage strategically with sustainability as a value driver

PROGRAM TIMELINE

1. Join the Green Bay Accelerator Info Session  
   
December 9, 2025 | 12:00 - 12:30 PM  |  REGISTER 

2. Apply for the 2026 Cohort by January 30, 2026

3. Up to 10 Businesses will Selected to Participate (February 2026)
4. ​Cohort Sessions will run bi-weekly, April – June 2026. 
    
​Six 2-hour group sessions will cover:

  • Sustainability Strategy & Materiality

  • Energy & Greenhouse Gas Management

  • Waste Management

  • Water Stewardship

  • Biodiversity & Land Use

  • Implementation & Next Steps

5. Q3 2026 - Implementation of Nature Based Solutions 
6. Q4 2026 - Recognition & Celebration
